Non-Woven Fabrics

There are several methods used to produce non-woven fabrics, including:

  2. Meltblowing: In this method, a polymer is melted and extruded through small nozzles, creating fine fibers that are collected onto a moving belt. The fibers are then bonded together using heat and pressure.
  3. Needle punching: In this method, fibers are mechanically interlocked using a series of barbed needles that push the fibers through a substrate. The resulting fabric has a felt-like texture.
  4. BB In this method, fibers are dispersed in water and then formed into a sheet using a screen or conveyor belt. The sheet is then dried and bonded using heat or chemical processes.

Non-woven fabrics have become increasingly popular in recent years, as they offer a range of benefits over traditional woven fabrics. They are used in a wide range of applications, including in disposable products, medical and hygiene products, automotive interiors, and home furnishings.
